McGregor's Landing Bed and Bath is located in northeast Iowa in the historic rivertown of McGregor, surrounded by bluffs on three sides, nestled in a valley on the Mississippi river. Here we have many old buildings, beautiful scenery and friendly people. The waterfront park on the Mississippi is less than a block away and on a quiet afternoon its not hard to sit and imagine the old steamboats paddling up and down the river.
Or come and sit a spell on our two story wrap around porch, which affords a wonderful view of the surrounding bluffs, an especially breathtaking sight in autumn.
We call McGregors Landing a Bed and Bath because, unlike a traditional B&B, we don't serve breakfast. Like a motel, each room has its own private entrance and bath, and the rooms are individually heated and cooled.
